Adversaeschna brevistyla (Blue-spotted Hawker)IUCN Status: Least Concern. If you bother to look at the link for the IUCN status, you'll might notice they refer to this species as Aeshna brevistyla. Here's another interesting snippet of information: in zoology, the name given to the species in the paper that first describes it sticks. Even if it changes genus, the species name remains unchanged.
In 1842, a (presumably) gentleman named Rambur published a paper describing Aeshna brevistyla in a French entomology journal. Subsequently it's been placed into a different genus (Adversaeschna), but his species name persists.
