TAS, Arthur River

TAS, Arthur River

Remote, wild, desolate, and stunning are a few of the words I'd chose to describe Arthur River. From all accounts the people who live there are as well.

I took this shot while volunteering with the University of Tasmania's devil research program. It takes a special sort of dedication to be out there all the time - and I tip my hat to the very capable PHD student running the show. It's a tough gig, and she's been at it a fair while.
