This was a near perfect day. I was lucky enough to be invited on a walk led by a very experienced and knowedgeable walker. We headed out from Lake McKenzie and walked just over 6.5Km to Fisher Bluff
. The majority of the walk was off defined tracks, and passing beautiful highland country and lakes.
The 360 degree views from the bluff are simply stunning. Immense vastness challenges the senses. To be a speck in this landscape is pardoxically uplifting and humbling. Yet the visible aspect is really only the north-eastern tip of the enormity that is south west wilderness region.
This is the view is looking south towards Walls of Jerusalem national park.
Perfect weather, amazing scenery, good light: pretty much a landscape photographers dream.
