Taudactylus eungellensis

Taudactylus eungellensis

Taudactylus eungellensis (Eungella Day Frog / Eungella Day Frog)

This species is critically endangered. They have a very small distribution, and are only found in very specific conditions within it. They inhabit the "splash" zones in the cascades of streams rolling done the boulder fields in certain creek beds.

They bask in these splash zones during the day, hiding in the cracks and crevases among the boulders if threatened.
