IUC Status: Least Concern

This species inhabits streams and rivers. I shot it on the fence on the path to some hot springs in the Northern Territory. Anytime you get images of a species with “elusive” in its name there are hopes you’ve taken something rare or special. However in this case, this species is fairly common and range on the Eastern coast from just north of Bundaberg right up to the cape, and also in the NT around Darwin, Litchfield and Kakadu.
