Sigh. Thanks goodness for that no one other than Mark will know I completely misidentified this. Originally I had this individual as Hydromys chrysogaster (Water Rat). I’m not exactly sure how I managed to be so wrong because all it takes is a quick google image search of each (here and here) and you can see they aren’t that similar.
