I’ve been listening to legends like Arthur Morris trying to challenge myself to look beyond my expectations.

Wandering the Tamar Wetlands looking for opportunities and mesmerised by the light, I made sure to keep the sun behind me – standard photography practice. Fortunately there were other photographers around at the time and I noticed they were looking into the sunset. Turning around and to my surprise and joy the best shot of the day was playing out behind me as this Eastern Great Egret speared a fish for diner.
