TAS, Temperate Rainforest
Stir crazy! Storms and foul weather washed my plans away with the flotsam swept down the mountain. Evening twilight, downpour easing. I head out to make the most of opportunity, hopeful to shoot revived creeks and falls.
Threatening to burst their banks, the waterways are energetic, bloated. Detail and refinement obliterated and access to pleasing vantages points denied. My plans are doubly irrelevant. Instead, the damp and dim light is perfect for shooting the forest. Water flows downward through trees looking for the creek, and mist rises.
The forest: a beautiful, dynamic, mess.
