IUCN Status: Least Concern

While I sat in my pop up bird hide, this character decided to put on a show right outside the door. One of the great challenges of wildlife photography is getting close enough to make compelling images, yet not disturb the animals so that their behavior is no longer natural.

Hides and camo help, but patience and stillness are the key. Sitting still for a couple of hours is great for my overly busy soul.
