Petroica rodinogaster (Pink Robin)

IUCN Status: Least Concern

A few years ago my family was at a local waterfall for a BBQ. There was a resident pink robin hunting insects over the creek at the base of the falls. This was not uniusual as Pink robins like creeks or rivers running though temperate rain forest in the south of Victoria and Tasmania.
However, this individual periodically stopped on a rock in the middle of the creek, and from that moment I've has a vision of a photo of a pink robin on rocks in the middle of some lovely cascades. This isn't quite that photo.... but it's close and I like it. I also like having something to work towards.
