Cedar Creek Wolf

Unknow Wolf Spider (Family Lycosidae)

I was out one night frogging at Cedar Creek near Brisbane. The rain had been heavy hte the creek was too high for frogging, but when I turned my headlamp down I counted 8 of these large wolf spiders in a area of about 2 square metres.

I hate that Zenfolio made me choose insect as the subcategory. I'm aware spiders are not.
